Trinity at Seaside Market, Macapagal Blvd

Whenever family members from abroad return to Manila, fresh seafood is always on their minds.

And the only place to get the freshest seafood to be eaten in a restaurant is Seaside Market.

There are a lot of restaurants to choose from but we always go back to Trinity. That is because we never had any tummy aches after chowing there.

Armed with our DEADLY discounting and negotiating skills we learned from our mother, we headed to the wet market first to buy seafood 1 to 2 kilos in quantity. After, we went back to the restaurant to have them cooked.

We feasted on these:

Mango Ensalada

We got the Manibalang type of mango so the salad won't be too sour.

Sinigang na Salmon Belly

Mildly sour, just the way we like it.

Sauteed Shrimp in Butter and Garlic

Fresh. I dipped them in calamansi and soy, heaven!

Adobong Pusit

A bit rubbery but nothing too tough to eat.

Inihaw na Liempo

What's a feast without liempo?! Porkylicious!

Baked Scallop with Cheese

I finished this in no time... My nape hurt after.

Lapu-Lapu in Sweet and Sour Sauce

Tasted a bit ketchup-y. Next time we'll just order the simple steamed fish with garlic.

Clams with Taosi

The grown ups loved this.

Despite the restaurant was in full capacity, the servers were pretty attentive. Good job!

Having a meal with the entire family is definitely one of my simple joys of life. : )

Have A Lovely Day!
