Bag of Beans, Tagaytay

There are only a handful of well known restaurants in Tagaytay. We decided to try the very famous Bag of Beans for a merienda treat. We wanted to see how good this restaurant people claim it to be...

Upon entering the main door, you would be greeted by all types of bread one can ever imagine. The aroma of these breads will entice you and make you want to purchase them all...

The shop also has a refrigerator worth of frozen meat pies and other desserts.

We got some cheese bread which was soft and cheesy.

We also got to taste their Special Sylvannas. It was just ok. It lacked something to which I cannot really pinpoint. I eat a lot of Sylvannas from Susie's Cuisine located in my hometown Angeles, Pampanga and they are way better for me. ( Or am I just biased??! :P )

Here are the other sweets we ordered to have with our House Blend Coffee P95 :

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE P105

Too sweet. After one spoonful, our friend did not touch it anymore.

CARROT CAKE P120

Now this, everyone enjoyed. We will order this again next time.

APPLE PIE ALA MODE P145

This was just ok as well. The pie crust was too dense.

FUNNY FACE P120

The baby happily ate this.

Since I don't drink coffee, I had my beloved Coke with my desserts. Overall, instead of going to the typical Starbucks to hang out and have your caffeine fix, why not try this cute coffee shop called Bag of Beans.

Have A Lovely Day!
