Destination: HONG KONG & MACAU (Part 2)

This is the continuation of how my friends and I toured Hong Kong and Macau last 2008.
*photo heavy*

Day 04 -We started the day early because we wanted to cross over to Zhuhai, China only to find out they do not issue one day China Visas anymore. Zhuhai is a place were you can buy tons of made in China clothes, toys, gadgets, etc cheaply. Think of 168 Mall or Divasoria Mall, only thrice the size of that!

We just went back to The Venetian Hotel and had lunch at the food court.

We toured Coloane Island after. This is the Saint Francis Xavier's Church.

This is the famous park where the popular Korean Drama Series Princess Hours was shot.

Snacking of these yummy egg tarts we bought from the original Lord Stow's Bakery. Currently, the small bakeshop is still there but they opened a new bigger Cafe located in the same area for people who want to sit down and dine on these delicious tarts. They also serve other dishes like sandwiches, salads, and other entrees.

We enjoyed those tarts under that tree.

Another place you can tour in Taipa is The Macanese House Museum. They will collect an entrance fee here.

You can see how the past rich Portuguese settlers lived in Macau. I love the white canopy beds. It looks so elegantly chichi. :D

Most of the houses have a lot of Catholic relics displayed on the walls or on top of coffee tables. You'd know they lived a very religious life.

WOAH!!! Gloria was found in one of the houses. She was still the presiding president during 2008 so maybe that was the reason she was placed there??

Us goofing around the place. GOOD TIMES!

At Fisherman's Wharf. We were suppose to have dinner here but we came late so everything was closed.

Hotel hopping again before going back to our hotel.

Day 05 - We went back to Hong Kong via Cotai Jet. We observed the Cotai Jet was better than Turbo Jet because it was cleaner and less crowded with passengers.

MTR ride back to our hotel to drop our luggage first.

After, the girls and I went to the Avenue of Stars located in Tsim Sha Tsui. We had a mini photo shoot of ourselves there.

To be continued...

Have A Lovely Day!
