Sonya's Garden

My good friend Eunice has forever been inviting us to dine at Sonya's Garden because she has never tried it before. I, on the other hand, has dined there for about three times now. And I find it quite just adequate. Adequate not because the food is not good, but because I'm a carnivore. I do not get full simply by eating vegetables.

So anyway, we finally got to do this trip one Sunday morning.

Too bad the gang's not complete.

For P610.00 a person, you will have all of these served right in front of you. This is an eat all you can spread by the way.

Freshly squeezed Dalandan Juice

Garden Salad Greens composed of freshly harvested lettuce and arugula. Side toppings: Mango, Broad Beans, Eggs, Cucumber, Jack fruit, Pineapple, and Jicama ( singkamas ).

Choices of dressings: Sonya's Super Secret Salad Dressing, Balsamic Dressing, and Chili Olive Oil
The Sonya's dressing for me tasted like honey mustard.

Freshly baked whole wheat sesame bread. The bread dips: Basil Pesto, White Cheese, Anchovies, and Mushroom Pate.

Pasta with two different kinds of sauces. One is Sun Dried Tomato and the other is Chicken Cream. Additional toppings: Ratatouille, Salmon Belly, Shitake Mushrooms, Black Olives, Capers, and Grated Parmesan Cheese.

As for dessert, there are three kinds that will be offered. Banana Rolls with Sesame and Jack fruit.

Glazed Sweet Potato

and Homemade Chocolate Cake. Desserts are served with Tarragon Tea.

My girlfriends, Eunice and KD looking extremely pleased with our lunch.

We would not leave Sonya's Garden without taking the obligatory photo here.

Have A Lovely Day!
