Conti's Pastry Shop at Greenbelt 2

Good evening my dears! I just got home from the hospital. We had an emergency so I was away since Friday. But thank God everything is fine now, everyone is ok.

Anyway, after watching the very AWESOME and creepy movie Sinister at Greenbelt last weekend, we headed straight to Conti's Pastry Shop to have dinner.

The companion and I were both craving for the baked salmon kasi.

The place was packed with diners.

Look at those Mango Bravo Cakes ( I'm salivating now.. )

We had the following:

CREAM OF BROCCOLI P80

This was the soup of the day. There were no other options but this. The soup was thickened with cornstarch or flour like the ones served in fast food. Not good.

CHEESY BAKED MACARONI P175

Macaroni noodles and chicken enveloped in mushroom sauce, topped with mixed cheeses. It had a peculiar strong and sweet bechamel sauce.

CONTI'S BAKED SALMON P335

Norwegian pink salmon baked with Conti's very own topping, served with buttered vegetables and paella rice. If it seem small in the picture, it really is that small in person. The garlicky mayonnaise-y topping over the fish was perfect. What we didn't like was the scales from the fish that we chewed and spit a lot.

MANGO BRAVO P145

Layers of crunchy wafers filled with chocolate mousse, cream and mango cubes. This is truly one of the best cakes EVER! The companion and I were supposed to share one but since I chew fast, he was only able to like take 2 bites of the cake so in the end he ordered another one cause he felt "bitin" lol.

Have A Lovely Day!
