Estabelecimento De Comidas Lok Kei, Macau

Some might be thinking we only stayed in Macau for less than a week, how come my food posts seem to be never ending? Let me explain this. There's really not much to do in Macau other than eat. So whenever we go there, all I do is rest, eat, and maybe shop a little. Most of my shopping takes place when/if we crossover to Hong Kong. So a typical day would be like this ( take our 4th day as an example ), we had brunch at Nagoyaka Tei; I had small snacks at a lot of cafes and one of them was Milk Top; we had dinner at Antica Trattoria da Ise; and had supper around midnight at Lok Kei. We technically chow up to 5 times daily so I have a lot of food places to post but you guys might be getting bored already so I'm screening them and just posting the interesting ones. :D

Lok Kei, like other small eateries in Macau is a family owned business. It is manned by a couple along with a few hired helps. This is the wife. She is in charge of all the cooking while the husband sits at the tiny cashier area.

The simple laminated menu. Again, small eateries here do no have English translation nor do the servers know how to speak or understand English.

Don't fret. The other side has pictures so to people like me who cannot really read Chinese words, I make turo-turo of the pictures I want to have.

We had the following:

SWEET STEWED CHICKEN FEET AND PORK INTESTINES

Uncle and the companion both had WONTON NOODLES SOUPS.

Auntie had  PLAIN CONGEE.

I had a plate of SWEET DRY NOODLES WITH WONTON.

We had more FRIED MEATBALLS AND WONTON to share.

The brilliant chit.

Have A Lovely Day!

    1. Hahaha! Ako nga nagtataas pa ng kamay and I do the sign language for check tapos hindi nila maintindihan. Nakakatawa. So ang dapat pala is self service. Ikaw dapat lalapit sa cashier to pay. lol
