Yakimix at Robinsons Place Manila

Feeling super hungry one night after a good treadmill run at the gym, the companion and I decided to satisfy that hunger and get back the calories we lost thru Yakimix.

It was our first time to dine there and I wanted to experience for myself what everyone is raving about. We went to the newly opened Robinson's Place Manila Yakimix branch.

The buffet spread that night:

What we had on the grill and the hot dishes we both ate:

My two dessert plates:

As you can see, we really didn't eat much. Despite that there were a lot of grill choices, most of them did not look and taste good. The grilling iron pan was kinda dirty for me and it was hard to use because most of the meats and seafoods were marinated with minced garlic and the garlic tends to stick on the pan and thus making our grilled meats taste burnt. We had to let them changed our grilling pan a couple of times. The dessert bar had little pastry choices. Thank goodness for the Nestle's ice cream and Red Ribbon Ube cake which were the only things we found decent. At P599 per head plus P65 for bottomless drinks, we both did NOT enjoy eating at this place. We will definitely NOT go back anymore.

Have A Lovely Day!

  2. I haven't tried the one in RP but I went to their Macapagal branch before and I was super duper DISAPPOINTED! True talaga as in most dishes DOES NOT look appetizer at all! In the end, na busog lang ako sa drinks kasi hindi ako na-enganyo sa mga food ~>_<~ Hindi ko nga alam bat mga iba sabi nila ok dyan, pero hindi ko talga type!! After nun, never na kaming bumalik pa sa Yakimix..ever!~

  3. Blog hopping :) Yakimix is actually one of my favorite buffet restaurant and I can see that you never like it hahaha! I don't know, I've tried almost everything that they had, para saken naman I like them. We keep coming back here and most naman ng sinama ko kumain dito didn't have the same negative feedback. We ate at SM North, Trinoma, and Podium branches and so far, none of these brances disappointed us. :) I guess hindi high standard yung taste namin lol JK :)

    1. Hi Cindy! Hmmm... Well I love the sister company of Yakimix which is King One. But as for Yakimix, its not really about high standard pero siguro hindi namin type ung lasa ng mga marinated meats and seafood doon? :D Anyway thanks for hopping to my space and please do comment more! It's awfully silent on my page.
