A Birthday Fiesta in the Province

My mom threw my dad another party during his actual birthday in our province.

Here are the typical food we usually have during such festivities:

PACO SALAD

We got this from Celi's. It's a restaurant where drivers, employees, office people, and famous people all gather up and dine. You can actually have Paco salad from the famous LJC Group of Restaurants which offers authentic kampampangan cuisine. The difference is Celi's Restaurant offers the dish at half the price.

PANCIT

What's a Filipino party without it!?

BAKED MACARONI

This is the second most requested party food whenever my mom asks the guests what they want. We get this from Toll House located in Sto. Rosario, Angeles. This is the BEST OF THE BEST. I have not met one person who has tasted this and said that it wasn't.

ROAST BEEF

Also from Toll House.

DINUGUAN

To my foreign readers ( naks! ) Dinuguan is a native dish made from coagulated pig's blood and pig's intestines cooked in pig's blood and vinegar. Yeah yeah, it sounds gross and it definitely looks gross ( call Andrew Zimmern! ) but this is one perfect dish for me!

LECHON

and the main star of the fiesta, THE LECHON! Upon opening this, the end part of this delicious pig was quickly eaten by the early guests.

Or was it Lulu???!!!

Have A Lovely Day!
