Manila Marriott Hotel Room Service at Resorts World Manila

Blog reviews are always about restaurants or hotel restaurant food. It's rare that fellow bloggers blog about room service food. So today, I'll write one about the room service we recently had at Manila Marriott Hotel.

The time was around 5:30-ish. It was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. I was looking for a little snack because I was feeling a bit famish since I only had two toasts with Nutella for the entire day. Room service was suggested because everyone was too lazy to go out and get something to eat at Newport Mall. Also, we would be seeing a couple of friends for dinner that night so a light snack was the best idea everyone agreed on.

We ordered the following to snack upon:

FISH AND CHIPS P780

San Miguel Beer battered whiting fillets, celeriac apple slaw, french fries, tartar sauce. Fish and fries were both crispy, freshly battered, and delish.

CREAMA VERDE ALA GAMBENETTO P640

Tiger prawns, creamy pesto sauce. A bit dry for my liking and the Fettuccine pasta was sticking to one another.

SINIGANG SA SAMPALOK P590

Choice of salmon or shrimps slowly cooked in tamarind broth. Tasty, nothing fishy, a tummy warmer soup for a cold and rainy afternoon.

The hotel management recently made a menu makeover to their room service list. I will be trying what other new items they have to offer.

Have A Lovely Day!
