Ginzadon at Maxims Tower, Resorts World Manila

I miss my friends.

We rarely see each other anymore ( excluding my sweetheart KD who I see once a week ) because of our work schedules and another, of her medical school.

So one warm Sunday night, we decided to have dinner together. The girls requested for tempura and sashimi so Ginzadon Restaurant came to my mind.

Two of our other girlfriends couldn't make it. Boo!

Ginzadon is a Japanese and Korean restaurant located at Maxims Tower. When dining there on weekends, make sure to have a reservation because it is often packed with guests.

What we ordered:

FREE APPETIZERS

We had two or three rounds of these. Ate a lot of those sweet and salty dilis (anchovies) and the girls loved the spicy mushrooms.

CANADIAN MAKI P340

My personal favorite. Those are like California Rolls but with extra crispy salmon skin in the filling and seared salmon meat on top.

PLAIN MISO SOUP P55

The soup needed more miso taste.

EBI TEMPURA P550

Huge prawns were used. Pretty good.

SASHIMI MORIAWASE TAKE P900

We had preference on what to eat. Lyn and KD finished the uni. I ate all the salmon.

GINDARA TERIYAKI P660

Don't worry. That is not the usual serving size. We already took portions of the fish when I remembered I still haven't taken a picture of it. ( I am a bad blogger :( )

LA KALBI GUI P800

Korean sweet barbeque beef spareribs and we grilled it to perfection. A must order!

BLACK SESAME ICE CREAM P88

NUK CHA P88

We capped off the dinner with these desserts. Lyn and I enjoyed the ice cream while KD did not like them. KD makes her own ice cream at home so she's a picky eater with regards to that.

Have A Lovely Day!

  2. You are so sweet!! :) I am actually wearing a lace skirt there.
I think I am naturally fair because my mom is also fair. The sun and my skin seldom meet. I kinda prefer cold places than hot ones. But the downside in looking sickly white is I look chubbier in person :P
