Chan Kuong Kei Casa de Pasto, Macau

According to a number of locals, Chan Kuong Kei serves the best Black Pepper Roasted Goose in the entire Macau!

And we AGREE!

This is my 5th time to dine here at Chan Kuong Kei. The servers are fast, the food is cheap, and everything is delicious!

By 12:30pm everything here is gone!

The scene at 11:00am. All the tables are taken so you need to queue outside! But not to worry, the table turnover is fast.

Our typical orders:

VEGETABLE AND BLOOD MOP25

My favorite! I usually eat an entire bowl of this. And I did!

BLACK PEPPER ROASTED GOOSE (HALF) MOP180

The dish is not spicy at all. You could hardly taste the black pepper marinate on the goose. This was gone in no time!

BBQ PORK W/ RICE MOP28

Since I can't eat poultry, this is my order. The asado pork is super tender. BTW, I've already eaten 1/4 of the pork so it looks a bit lacking in the picture. :D

ROASTED PORK W/ RICE MOP28

This is the real Lechon Macau! There's not much fat in the pork. The meat is juicy and the skin... ohh.. the skin... it's super crunchy!

GOOSE TONGUE ADOBO

Just too weird for me.

DUCK BROTH WITH BARLEY MOP7

Very tasty!

Have A Lovely Day!

  4. I love duck! There's a place in Kenya that looks exactly like that and the service is fast and food is cheap. Instead of duck they have chicken.
