The Stock Market Cafe at High Street, Bonifacio Global City

It was raining cats and dogs.

We planned on having dinner at Mercato Centrale a week before and I was really eager to do that.

It was only 8:00 pm and Mercato opens at 10:00 pm. We cannot stroll around Serendra anymore to kill time because of the heavy rain when suddenly we were forced to stopped in front of this restaurant.

The restaurant looks inviting and the interiors show this cozy comfortable place where guests can relax. We were starting to feel hungry so we decided to order a little.

A tall glass of Lymonda P120 for me and a beer for the companion.

TOMATO AND CHEESE SUPREME P175

I thought I was ordering a tomato soup with some cheese toasts because that was what I thought I read from the menu. BOY WAS I WRONG! The soup came out like this. Appearance wise, it looked good. But the taste was really weird. As it turned out, the soup was composed of half tomato soup and half cheese sauce. It was really BAD! After one spoonful, I did not touch the soup anymore.

SLAMMERS P495

The companion ordered this. The menu says it's prime fillet mignon, caramelized onions, blue cheese crumble, mushroom ragout on a soft mini bun served with chips and fries. The mini burger tasted like barbequed beef tocino?!? We did not even see or taste a speck of blue cheese crumble! The only good thing in this dish were the twisted fries.

We will not go back to this restaurant anytime soon.

Have A Lovely Day!
