Konbini Store, Greenhills

It was Sunday. The time was noon. We were supposed to meet up with my parents and other relatives for lunch at Mann Hann Greenhills. As usual it was super traffic in that area. My achi kept on repeating she was extremely hungry and needed to eat asap because she has to nurse her baby soon. After being stuck at Wilson Street for more than 20 minutes, we decided not to go follow the others anymore and just eat by ourselves. The nearest restaurant options were Angel's Kitchen ( our first choice but the small restaurant was full ) and Konbini Store.

Off to Konbini then!

You know the drill! Since it was my second time to eat there I already knew what to order. ( Click here to view my previous visit )

Choose your drinks first. Grab the laminated cards of the food you want to eat and pay at the counter. I got apple juice while the other two got green teas.

 SHOYU RAMEN P335

My sister and the companion both ordered this. Of course nothing beats the ramen noodles from Ukokkei Ramen Ron but this one was "passable".

The noodle soup set comes with a plate of Pork Gyoza. I finished both of these plate with white rice.

 JAPANESE PLAIN RICE P70

Rice overload for me!

CALIFORNIA ROLLS ( 6 PCS ) P220

The sister cannot eat eel so we ordered a separate maki roll for her.

SUPER CALIFORNIA ROLLS ( 5 PCS ) P310

The companion and I shared this delicious maki and were able to finished it in no time.

EBI TEMPURA ( 6 PCS ) P380

This was really really GOOD!

YAKITORI MOMO ( 6PCS ) P360

They both said the chicken was grilled to perfection. The meat was plump and juicy.

For dessert, as usual, we got these yummy ice cream filled mochi. We have this rule that when it comes to dessert, sharing is NOT allowed.

Have A Lovely Day!

    1. That's a very good question Franz! We ordered shoyu because we always order that every time we eat at Konbini. Guess we just believe why order something else that might not be good when we find this shoyu ramen good enough for us? :D
