Yabu The House of Katsu at SM Mall of Asia

Good morning everyone!

Right after out Lush Haul, we went to the newly opened Yabu The House of Katsu for dinner. Would you believe we waited for 2 and a half hours just to dine here??!

At 7:30pm we were the 29th on the reservation list. Yabu is that HOT or that good that people are willing to starve for hours just to have their Katsu fix.

Our orders:

BOTTOMLESS HOUSE BLEND ICED TEA P95

APPETIZERS P195

Wakame and Superior Potato & Egg Salad. It was our first time to order some appetizers and we both loved the Wakame. The Potato Salad wasn't bad either.

GIANT SCALLOPS P110/pc

We got one each of our favorite scallops. Perfectly fried as always.

MENCHI KATSU SET P350

Authentic Japanese minced meat, made with superior ground beef and pork, mixed  together with Yabu's special spices, and stuffed with creamy cheese. I could hardly taste the cheese because it all melted to the sauce. The pork as usual was super duper tender.

HIRE KATSUDON P335

Yabu's original katsudon is delicious cutlets dipped in egg and dredged in fresh panko, served over a bowl of steamed Japanese rice and all covered in a mouth-watering sauce and egg. The companion always get the curry but this time he decided to try my usual order which is the Katsudon. He said it was ham-ham ( not bad, but not the best ).

Have A Lovely Day!

    1. Uhmm worth it for us kasi mahilig talaga kami sa scallops. But if hindi mo rin masyado type yun then just get the normal set meal. Sure busog ka narin doon. :D
