My Kitchen By Chef Chris at The Oasis

My dichi seldom visits our house. One reason would be is that she's super busy taking care of her two chikitings ( she's a proud hands-on mommy ) and another reason is she lives in the far far away land of Ortigas while our house is in Manila. So on those rare occasions she shows up at our house and after hanging out and playing with the kids at home, the entire family would have dinner at My Kitchen by Chef Chris. My dichi is in love with this restaurant and even when she was still helping out in Angeles, she would often request to dine at C' Italian at least once a week.

Our usual orders:

CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP

Topped with cream, croutons and fresh herbs. Everyone had this.

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA

The Oasis way, Parmesan cream sauce with bacon and mushroom. I ate about 3/4 of the entire plate content.

PANIZZA KRISTINA

Bacon, ham, caramelized onions, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LIKE THIS?!

PANIZZA GENOVESE

Pesto infused cheese sauce topped with shrimp, grouper dices and capers. Good but still prefer the Kristina flavor.

CHEF CHRIS WHOLE SLOW ROASTED CHICKEN

Seasoned with lemon, white wine and olive oil presented over aromatic chorizo pilaf garnished with roasted carrots, pumpkin and spring garlic. Ordered just because Samara loves chicken.

RISOTTO OX-TONGUE

Dices of tender braised imported ox-tongue, assorted fresh mushrooms, asparagus and Italian broccoli, blended with pomodoro and marsala enhanced risotto perfected with butter and Parmesan cheese. One fantastic dish!

  2. You usually indicate prices; I wonder if you felt it was irrelevant because you felt at home there.
