We spent our 6th day in Tokyo shopping so for our 7th and last full day in Japan, I asked my sister that we continue sightseeing because I'm on the verge of being broke. lol. Rin requested that we go to Shibuya Crossing as she is a fan of the movie The Fast and the Furious while I wanted to go see Tokyo Skytree. I have this thing for high places. :D

Hachiko Statue
After a couple of hours roaming around Shibuya, we went to Tokyo Central Station to have lunch.
We planned on having lunch here at Tokyo Ramen Street located inside the central train station but the line was super long.
So we just chose a random curry place to eat.
Cheese Curry Hamburg Rice for me, and Omurice with Beef for Rin-Rin.
We saw Dean & Deluca store and we just had to go in and smell the bread. :P
Our next stop was Asakusa for the Senso-ji or Asakusa Kannon Temple.
Cute?!
Senso-ji Temple is Tokyo's oldest temple. This is Kaminarimon or Thunder Gate. The first gate you'd enter going to the temple.
Nakamise, a shopping street of over 200 meters.
Hozomon, the temple's second gate.
You can get your fortune reading here. You have to donate a Y100 coin inside the box. Shake the metal canister until a bamboo stick with a number written on it falls. Search the number on those tiny boxes and get your fortune paper from it.
You have to get the incense smoke on yourself for good luck.
You have to cleanse both your hands and mouth with water before entering temples in Japan.

Our last stop for today was Tokyo Skytree in Sumida City Ward.
Asahi Beer Hall
The Tokyo Skytree is a new television and broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. With a height of 634 meters, it is the tallest building in Japan and the second tallest structure in the world at the time of its completion. (source)
A large shopping complex with aquarium is located at its base.
