Destination: ASIA's WORLD CITY HONG KONG (Day 02 Central, Hakata Ippudo, Citygate Outlets, Caffe Superiore, Mongkok Night Market)

Our second day started with a nice ramen lunch at Hakata Ippudo located at Century Square Building, Central. It was a gloomy day and we were sure it was going to drizzle. We were suppose to go sightseeing at Tai O Market but cancelled it and decided to just go mall hopping.

We got free paper fans outside the eatery!

The waiting time was only 10 minutes...

which was very nice since we were all starving! Having dimsum at night without rice was a bad idea.

Shiromaru Motoaji for Rin. The combination of Hakata-style ultra-thin noodles, topped with lean slices of pork, black fungus, soybean sprouts and scallions.

Special Sapporo Miso. I got this because of the corn and butter included in the soup.

Shoyu Tonkotsu for my dad. Thick noodles topped with BBQ pork, flavored egg, roasted seaweed, spinach and spring onion.

Eel Rice in a Stone Pot for my mom. She doesn't like ramen.

Ramen soup condiments. You can add fresh garlic or grind fragrant sesame seeds on your soup. How cool is that?!

Ippudo BBQ Pork Buns. A hand-sized white bun stuffed with a thick slice of pork, lettuce, Ippudo's secret barbeque sauce, Japanese mayonnaise and mustard.

After lunch we all headed to the Citygate Outlets.

You have to rummage the bins and racks of clothes to get good finds in this store.

Mid shopping, we headed to the mall's food court the Food Repubic to get refreshments.

I had orange and carrot juice. Yummy!

At night, the parents were tired so they went back to the hotel while Rin and I moved to Mongkok to get dinner and search for a lens cap for my camera.

We had dinner at this Italian restaurant Caffe Superiore located in Langham Place Shop.

Complimentary Cream of Mushroom Soup and Bread

Risotto with Bacon and Egg in Cream Sauce

Spaghetti ala "Carbonara" Bacon and Garlic with Egg in Cream Sauce

Quattro Formaggi Pizza served with Honey

We discovered this very cool shop at the same mall. It sells tons of good clothes and shoes at very affordable prices.

I was able to find that obsolete lens cap for my beloved camera. Yippee!

We strolled around Mongkok's night market.

Before heading home we got our favorite street foods.

Not in the picture but we got sausages, fried beef balls, fried pork intestines and fried squid balls.

For dessert we got Egg Pancakes.

To be continued...

Have A Lovely Day!
