A Birthday Fiesta in the Province

My mom threw my dad another party during his actual birthday in our province.

Here are the typical food we usually have during such festivities:

PACO SALAD

We got this from Celi's. It's a restaurant where drivers, employees, office people, and famous people all gather up and dine. You can actually have Paco salad from the famous LJC Group of Restaurants which offers authentic kampampangan cuisine. The difference is Celi's Restaurant offers the dish at half the price.

Bag of Beans, Tagaytay

There are only a handful of well known restaurants in Tagaytay. We decided to try the very famous Bag of Beans for a merienda treat. We wanted to see how good this restaurant people claim it to be...

It was my dad's birthday and as customary, we had a 9 course Chinese Lauriat at one of the best Chinese restaurant in manila ( for us ) which is Tao Yuan.

I paid a visit to my dear friend's condo last week for dinner.

She allured me with her delicious homemade cooking.

So in return, I brought baked desserts from Krispy Kreme and the famous Magnum Ice Cream Bar from 7-11.

We just had brunch buffet at Marriott Cafe during noon time and for dinner, we decided to eat at Tajimaya simply because we are all piggies :D

So why would you pay 2000 bucks net for a buffet meal that has a time limit of 3 and 1/2 hours?

I visited a good friend KD at her new but temporary abode last week.

She loves to feed me with her yummy creations every time we see each other. This time it was fresh romaine salad with her homemade no egg and no mayonnaise dressing since she was on her "healthy eating week". The dressing was very tasty! She used yogurt, garlic, and some herbs ( will ask for the recipe ).

And she decided to have a mini photoshoot inside the abode's moving elevator. ( COOL! )

Day 04 -We started the day early because we wanted to cross over to Zhuhai, China only to find out they do not issue one day China Visas anymore. Zhuhai is a place were you can buy tons of made in China clothes, toys, gadgets, etc cheaply. Think of 168 Mall or Divasoria Mall, only thrice the size of that!
