A beautiful church wedding was held followed by a lavish reception feast at Manila Marriott Hotel.
Good food, good drinks, good company, and a night filled with fun and love.
Here are the scrumptious dishes we dined on:
appetizer: Seared Sea Scallop with Green Pea Puree |
soup: Manhattan Clam Chowder with Cornbread Dumplings |
entree: Marinated Baked Lobster Tail with Potato Dauphinoise |
main entree: Grilled Australian Rib Eye, Spring Vegetables, and Truffle Sauce |
dessert: Pistachio Pudding with Ice Vanilla Parfait and Lemon Chiboust |
I love to attend weddings. It's like out of 7 billion people in the world, two people found one another ready to commit themselves to love and cherish each other for eternity. To sum what I feel about this joyous occasion, here is one of my favorite quotes from the book Brida by Paolo Coelho.
“But how will I know who my Soulmate is?” Brida felt that this was one
of the most important questions she had ever asked in her life.
"By taking risks" she said to Brida. "By risking failure,
disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in you search for Love.
As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end.”
