Hai Kang Seafood Restaurant is becoming one of the family's favorites so when my dad's birthday came up, we all voted to celebrate it at Hai Kang. We just love how Hai Kang gives a new twist to old Chinese favorites. My dichi did all the menu planning because she and her family always dine here every Sunday.
Here are the 10 big dishes we chowed on:
SEAFOOD NOODLES
ASSORTED COLD CUTS
STEAMED SCALLOPS WITH ENOKI MUSHROOM
STEAMED SUAHE
WINTERMELON SOUP
DEEP FRIED LAPU-LAPU WITH MANGO RELISH
PEKING DUCK TWO WAYS
STEAMED CRABS
FRESH FRUITS
PEANUT MOCHI
RED VELVET CAKE BY FRITZI ANG

DeleteIs there a dipping sauce for the suahe and the crabs?
ReplyDeleteYup! There's always the soy-vinegar-garlic-leek sauce for those seafoods! :D
Deletekakaiba yun cold cuts nya ah, not the usual one served in weddings, lolz ^_~
ReplyDeleteYeah! Kakaiba nga! Kaya nga parang may fusion ekek ung Chinese food dito! You'd like it if medyo sawa ka na sa typical Chinese pan-toh dishes.
Delete*Squeal!* What's that first picture of??
ReplyDeleteThe first pic is the birthday cake! It's frozen mango chocolate cake! super yummy!
