Mamou at Serendra, Fort Bonifacio

When my achi and her family came back to Manila for a short visit, Mamou was her top restaurant of choice! Her husband, Ahya Adrian simply loves the steak at Mamou. At 8 in the morning, she called me up to instruct me to book a table for the 6pm seating at the Serendra branch. Everyone made sure to arrive hungry for a full fantastic meal ahead!

Our dinner:

MAMOU'S ICED TEA P80

Everyone arrived parched so all ordered this.

TRUFFLE FLAVOURED VEGETABLE MUSHROOM DIP WITH WHOLE WHEAT MELBA CHIPS P195

I prefer the mushroom dip from Cibo though this was ok.

BARCIA STRIPS P230

Crispy Pork strips with vinegar. Would you believe we had 3 orders of this? The dipping sauce was just perfect with the fats!

HEALDSBURG'S HARVEST P325

Greens in season, sweet tomatoes, glazed pecans, dried cranberries, cranberry stilton cheese, berry vinaigrette. Crisp, sweet and with crunchy bits of goodness. Everything I love in a salad.

ROAST PORK & CHICKEN HALF P345

Mamou's citrus rubbed chicken, buttered onions, white rice, cinnamon saba and black beans. The yaya had this and she was able to finish everything including the black beans.

BEER BATTERED FISH WITH MALT VINEGAR P295

Potato wedges, malt vinegar and tartar sauce. Not oily and was fried to perfection!

ANGUS RIBEYE USDA PRIME GRADE STEAK TWIN P2980

My family always have their steaks cooked to medium well. But I prefer mine cooked to medium. This one was cooked to well done so that the kids could have tiny pieces of it. The steak was SO tough.

FREE SIDE DISHES WITH THE STEAK: STEAK RICE & CINNAMON SABA

The steak rice was fatty and OH SO GOOD! The saba was excellent as well.

LORENZO'S TRUFFLE CREAM P375

Spaghettini, truffle flavored cream, Grana Padano cheese, served al dente. Both kids loved this pasta that we had to order 3 plates of it just to satisfy everyone's appetites. ( I had one plate just for myself kasi :D )

Love you guys to bits!!!

Have A Lovely Day!
