Good morning everyone! I just came back from our 8 days Tokyo Trip a couple of days ago. We didn't spend 8 days touring but rather just 6. Our flight from Manila to Tokyo was at 2:30 in the afternoon. It was a 4 hour flight and there's +1 hour time difference between the two cities so we arrived at Narita Airport around 7 in the evening. We took the express train ride from the airport to Shinjuku where we will be staying for the next 8 days. Our returning flight back to Manila was at 9:30 in the morning so we basically just had 6 days to eat, shop and do major sight seeing at the Land of Rising Sun, Japan!
Here's my photo diary of the trip starting with our first day in Tokyo.

For 2 straight hours I was playing this on the airplane. The next 2 I was asleep.
With my baby sister.
Our plane food was not bad at all.
Touchdown Japan!
Cute little girl trying to do an OOTD shot with me.
We rented a pocket wifi at the airport. We were suppose to get the normal one but it was not available anymore so we had no choice but to get this LTE pocket wifi. We paid Y10,080 for 8 days of usage. That's about P4,400.
We also planned on taking the airport bus going to our hotel because it has a direct stop but the last bus left just 5 minutes after we reached the booth so we took the express train instead.
The train was about to arrive.
Our hotel, Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku, had a nice frontage and lobby.
While my parents settled down in their room, my sister and I walked around to get some food. The parents were too tired to leave the hotel so they asked us to take out food to be eaten in the hotel room.
We spotted this Yoshinoya eatery at the end of the road. We have tried this when we went to Osaka two years ago and we liked it.
Our room was extremely tiny. You literally had to flatten yourself to the wall in order to walk past the two beds.
Every floor in our hotel had vending machines where we got our cold drinks from. The water from the faucet in Japan is potable.
