Thailand Shopping Haul

Happy Monday everyone!

Before I post the things I got, let me show you the pretty clothes being sold inside Platinum Mall. These were the stuff I took photos because I wasn't sure if I liked them enough to purchase them. So, I gave myself time to contemplate and went back the next day to those I dreamt about while sleeping ( lol ). This is a very good rule to follow so as not to impulsively buy things in the end you don't really want to wear and also not to further damage our piggy banks.

All About Decoupage

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!

I grew up watching The Carol Duvall Show and Martha Stewart.

It's fun to watch them because they can transform simple things to awesome pretty outputs!

Since I love beautiful things but I'm not the arty fartsy type of gal, I commissioned a friend who loves to decoupage for me.

First is I chose a small weaved purse.

Destination: AMAZING THAILAND (Day 04)

This was our last day in Bangkok. The 4th and final entry of my Thailand travel diary.

We had one full day to spend because our flight back to Manila was 12:40 am the next day.

We just went to two places since we wanted to chillax and do some minor last minute shopping. ( We've been shopping for 3 whole days now but apparently we felt we still needed to burn some more cash! )

Day 3

It was Chatuchak Weekend Market Day! We woke up early, had a beautiful breakfast which I will blog separately. After, we asked for directions on how to go to BTS skytrain station. We were contemplating hiring a cab but when we found out they will charge us 300baht we backed out. From our hotel which was the Amari Watergate Bangkok, we passed a lot of malls. The first mall we saw that has a bridge connecting to the skytrain was Gaysorn Plaza. KD was hesitant to go inside because she was pulling our trolley. Anyhoo, since we couldn't bear the heat anymore, we had no choice but to passed through it to get to the skytrain station.

Day 2

We planned on waking up early the next day but alas I woke up late. I was not able to have my favorite breakfast buffet. Bummer! KD on the other hand woke up extremely early. Like 6:30 am early (@_@). She was able to packed her previous day's buys, ate breakfast alone, and surf the net till 12:30 pm.

We took a tuktuk ride going to Big C Supercenter to get food pasalubongs. You can actually walk ( a 15 min. walk ) from our hotel to Big C but since it was scorching hot, we HAD to take a ride.

Hello my darling readers! I miss you all so much!

I got back yesterday around 5:00 am. The plane encountered a lot of clear-air turbulence but everyone was snoring heavily to mind it and feel distressed.

Anyway, KD and I both got back safe and sound.

I, however, am a pauper for the next 4 months (-_-)

Weekend Haul

Good day my darlings!

My mom and I went to Duty Free last Sunday because she wanted to get something for an aunt who just celebrated her birthday.

Impressions at Maxims Tower, Resorts World Manila

On a normal night without any occasion at all, when the companion's parents asked me where I wanted to eat for dinner, Impressions automatically came to my mind. It definitely left a great impression on me the first time we dined there a couple of weeks ago.

Dining in a fabulous restaurant does not need any special reason. Good company is simply enough.
