Va Pensiero at Araneta Center

Almost a month ago ( I have so much backlogs! ),  a mixed martial arts contest entitled One Fighting Champion, Pride of A Nation happened here in the Philippines for the very first time. The event was held at Araneta Coliseum. Since Tito Mark R. was one of the producers, he offered us some FREE good seat tickets to the show. I've always been curious about these live human brutality fights ever since Pacquiao became famous. I have never seen anyone do hardcore fistfight in person so I immediately said yes when the companion asked me if I wanted to go ( There's always a violent characteristic in everyone! ).

We got to the Araneta Center two hours before the show and decided to dine at Cafe Adriatico.

But, we passed by another restaurant and changed our minds.

A Sunday at Maxims Hotel, Resorts World Manila

Last Sunday the parents attended a wedding event. The baby sister flew to China with her friends while the companion was still in Singapore with his family. So basically I was home alone.

I don't like being cooped in our house on a Sunday because it's too depressing.

I was given an overnight stay at Maxims Hotel so I quickly called all the girls and told them to pack their overnight bags because we will have a staycation at a fabulous hotel. Everyone except KD declined because of their early Monday work schedule. KD, on the other hand agreed to go with me provided I return her to her place at 6:30 am the next morning. So we had about 16 hours of time left to do whatever.

We definitely spent those precious hours on food, relaxation, and fun!

Barcino at Power Plant Mall

After a lovely lunch with the girls at Apartment 1B, I met up with another good friend of mine Eunice at the Power Plant Mall to do whatever. I was thinking we'd go window shopping as we usually do whenever we hang out but she suggested we catch a movie.

Last Saturday a good friend of mine Ceej organized a baby shower for another good friend of ours, Goldi, at Apartment 1B.

Goldi is the first in our little "friendship group" who got married to the guy of her dreams and is now expecting their first baby boy together.

Everyone's really excited and anticipating these moments.

Ceej entitled this wonderful little party of ours, "The Ladies Who Lunch". 

Italianni's at Robinsons Place Manila

A pleasant Monday to my sweet readers!

One Friday night, KD decided to leave her beloved work place and have a meal with me at Robinsons Place Manila. Since she has this Bistro Discount Card, we therefore chose Italianni's as our dinner place.

But before that, we visited the supermarket first.

We are both certified food addicts because lately we spend our time together not shopping for clothes or shoes but shopping for food. NYEH!

When KD got back from her LONG trip to Japan, a dinner with her was a must.

It was important for me to meet up with her because I missed her terribly... NOT! :D

I was simply excited to collect my pasalubongs!

KD by the way is a faculty member of DLSU. She's always busy so the only way I can see her is to go back to my alma matter and have a meal with her there.

Spending quality time with the companion's parents always involves good food.

They know I'm a picky eater so they will suggest certain restaurants that offer the few food I would eat.

So one Sunday dinner, we all went to Happy 9 which serves my favorite Abalone dish.

Lulu's Grooming at Pet Passion Dog Shop

Let me post something totally adorable today. Last week I took Lulu to her salon for a haircut. Pet Passion Dog Shop is located at Hobbies of Asia, Macapagal Area. It's very near King One Restaurant. I like it there because the salon is clean. The groomers all wear body uniforms. They listen and know how to execute all the instructions clients tell them.

Day 03. My sister and I went to Hong Kong for a day tip while my parents went to Zhu Hai. We went to Hong Kong via The Cotai Strip Cotaijet exiting Macau through Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal. That is the newest and second harbor terminal in Macau. For more info click this.

T.G.I. Friday's at Robinsons Place Manila

KD and I did errands a couple of weeks ago. After, we strolled around Robinsons Place. There is this outlet store selling discounted clothes and shoes from brands like Lyn, Charles and Keith, etc. To those who like them, do check out for cheap good finds. At 7pm, nobody still wanted to eat but since it was dinner time and we didn't want to go home on fear we will get hungry later on, we decided to have a light meal at T.G.I. Friday's.
