Hello everyone! I'm back. I got back yesterday. Sadly, we weren't able to go to Hong Kong so most of my buys came from those cheap drugstores found in Macau though I really didn't buy a lot of stuff.

Anyway, let's see what I got for the MOP100 shopping challenge or P519 at Daiso!

Daiso is one of my favorite places to go to in Macau.

In fact I was there yesterday, and the day before that.

As for today, maybe I'll go back and check out some shelves I might have missed? :P

Yes, I'm truly a cheapo shopper ( got it from my mama)! I love anything on sale or everything my hard earned money can stretch to.

Good evening my dears! I just got home from the hospital. We had an emergency so I was away since Friday. But thank God everything is fine now, everyone is ok.

Anyway, after watching the very AWESOME and creepy movie Sinister at Greenbelt last weekend, we headed straight to Conti's Pastry Shop to have dinner. 

The companion and I were both craving for the baked salmon kasi.

Bugis & BRGR The Burger Project at The Grand Tower, Vito Cruz Manila

I paid my good friend KD another visit one Tuesday night. She suggested we try this make your own burger place called The Burger Project near DLSU Taft. Walking from the university to The Grand Tower, I felt like I had gotten lung cancer from all the smoke belching cars I've inhaled! lol. Anyway upon entering the building I saw this bright lit place called Bugis.

Yesterday, I organized my first ever dinner party!

It was pretty chaotic to be honest.

The party was to celebrate the birthday of the companion's dad.

I think I did poorly in arranging the food on the table.

Good morning darlings!

Way back when Chef Chris Locher was starting and manning his small restaurant C Italian Dining in Angeles City, we'd go visit him and taste all his yummy creations. ( In Angeles, there's not much good restaurants so choices are very limited. )

He'd even make us off the menu dishes so we'd continue to visit him ( Although that was not needed. The usual menu offerings were enough ).

When he left C' Italian and created another restaurant in Manila, we definitely followed him.

One Sunday lunch, I took the companion and his family to try My Kitchen by Chef Chris.

Revlon: Colorburst Lipstick in Fuchsia

I got this tube last year when my parents and I traveled to Guam. I bought it at JP Superstore located in Guam Plaza Hotel. This is actually my one and only Fuchsia colored lipstick. I rarely use it but lately, my mom keeps on scolding me whenever I use my Mac Ruby Woo or Rouge Coco Gabrielle. She said red does not suits me because I have fat lips. Red looks too provocative. So I brought this out again from my lipstick drawer in exchange for the reds. Well, what do you know! My mom approved of this attention grabbing pink color!

Gifts from Singapore

When the companion came back from his trip to Singapore, he surprised me with a plastic bag of goodies from one of my favorite stores.

The usual gifts I get from him ( with regards to clothes ) are always picked or chosen in advance by me. Once, he gave me a couple of dresses and tops. Upon checking them I was appalled on how uhmm.. peculiar (?!) they looked like. Until now, I haven't worn a single of them. So let's just say we have different taste and style so it is best to do the gift giving that way. But on his latest trip, he tried again and got me some stuff.

Hong Kong Master Cook at Seaside Market, Macapagal Blvd

Last Sunday, we took out the visitors of the companion's family from Macau. They let me decide where to take the guests for dinner since they all think I'm a walking food directory. The first thing that came to my mind was Seaside because that is where my family take our guests from abroad. We were about to enter Trinity Restaurant when I thought of Hong Kong Master Cook located at the back of the vicinity. We used to eat there a lot before but when we found out they didn't have clean water system we switched to Trinity.

Hopefully they have one now..

Wildflour Cafe + Bakery, Fort Bonifacio

During our little baby shower party for Val a couple of weeks ago ( which happened at Apartment 1B ), Em happily gave us shout out invites for her birthday celebration to happen the week after. The girls and I suggested Wildflour as the venue because of the great reviews we've been hearing about it to which Em agreed upon. 

Kimchi / Mojou at Genting Club, Resorts World Manila

One Saturday afternoon, before watching a movie in our favorite cinema at Resorts World Manila, the companion took me to the cafes hidden at the back of Genting Club to have lunch. I was surprised to find these two because I thought Happy 9 was the only restaurant found inside the Club. The cafes are so small that aside from the two bar areas which can seat 7 people each, they both share 6 small tables with 4 small seats for customers to use.
