Destination: MACAU & HONG KONG (Part 2)

Continuation of our Macau and Hong Kong Trip.

Day 03. My sister and I went to Hong Kong for a day tip while my parents went to Zhu Hai. We went to Hong Kong via The Cotai Strip Cotaijet exiting Macau through Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal. That is the newest and second harbor terminal in Macau. For more info click this.

My baby sister wanted to check out some stores located in Central so we chose Shun Tak Center as our destination in Hong Kong. This is located in Sheung Wan which is only a station away from Central.

Upon arriving at Central go to exit D3 Queen's Road Central where one of the two biggest H&M stores is found ( the other one is at Tsim Sha Tsui ). There are also Cotton On Store, Sasa, and Marks & Spencer in the area.

After shopping straight for X number of hours, we felt sickly hungry and ate at the Ajisen Ramen beside H&M.

Our next stop was Sham Shui Po. I've never really been to this place before and it's definitely not on my go- to-list but my mom insisted we check that place for cheap finds. She told us that is the wholesalers area in Hong Kong.

The place exactly looks like Mongkok.

My mom's instruction was find a building that sells all the trendy clothes for youngsters. She didn't give us a name because she forgot it. After walking around for half an hour trying to find a fashion building, we asked a police where the mall in Sham Shui Po is located. The police led us here.

The mall is HUGE! It has 9 floors full of clothes, shoes, food, electronics, and others.

Day 04. The parents went back to Zu Hai for more shopping. We couldn't go with them because we didn't have China Visas in our passports so we decided to do some touring. When we were about to leave the hotel, we saw these awesome performers in the garden.

We went to Old Taipa Village for brunch. We ate at this tiny corner bakery.

We had Polo Pao, Ham and Cheese Breads, and Noodles w/ Egg and Ham.

After brunch we walked towards this famous street. It was packed with tourists strolling around and buying food pasalubongs.

We ate a lot of free almond cookie and egg rolls w/ seaweeds samples here.

Since it was 30 something degrees hot, we grabbed frozen yogurt from Dutty to cool ourselves down.

Next stop was Panda Conservatory. I find it confusing to go here so just take a cab so you won't waste time by getting lost.

Last December of 2010, China gave a pair of Pandas called Kai Kai and Xin Xin to Macau. Kai Xin means Happy.

We got there just in time for their afternoon meals.

Meet Kai Kai! SOOO CUTE!

He just kept on chewing and chewing for hours until all the bamboos and fruits were gone.

There are also a few birds and monkeys found inside the Panda Conservatory.

Inside the gift shop.

For dinner, we went to our favorite Portuguese Restaurant Fernando's.

At 5:30 pm, the place was packed. The restaurant does not allow reservations and it is always close when the Macau Grand Prix is happening because the drivers will be dining here.

We had Leitao Assado no Forno, Fernando's Style Clams, Arroz Chau Chau a Macau, Galinha Assada na Brasa, and Camarao Frito C/ Alho.

To be continued..

Have A Lovely Day!
