Good day my darling readers! Funny how things turn out sometimes. I was having a not so good week when suddenly I received an email saying they want to sponsor me a spa trip at The Spa. I was like, are they serious or is this just a sham? Upon responding, I found out it was a legit offer and the coincidental part was lately, I was thinking of booking an appointment at The Spa to cheer me up! My family and I have always been loyal clients of The Spa. Whenever we have free time, my mom and I would go to The Fort branch and have a relaxing afternoon spa treatment. I was pretty ecstatic with the offer and of course I gladly accepted it! Due to my busy schedule, I had to rebook a couple of times. On my third re booking, I told them I'll just cancel since I am causing too much inconvenience and would gladly just blog one of my future visits since I'm really about to go to The Spa sometime soon. They patiently worked with my schedule and finally it happened last week! Hooray!!! It was actually my first time to try their services at Shangri-la Mall so here's my photo diary of it!

Kerastase Nutritive Nutri-Thermique Systeme Thermo-Intense

Last August, a sweet reader commented that I have nice hair simply by looking at a semi blurred photo of me. Pumalakpak-tenga ko pati paa ko! I have, since then, planned on posting my simple hair care routine but it took me 2 months to post it because I'm one lazy blogger now... I don't really like spending money on my hair because I'd rather spend it on more important things like shoes. :D I go and see my stylist Rachele Aguila who is now stationed at Salon Privat Manila a maximum of twice per year. I don't like to do those chronologist hair treatment because I find them expensive. I, on my own, do my own deep moisturizing treatment at home using this fabulous product Kerastase Nutritive Nutri-Thermique Systeme Thermo-Intense. This was recommended by Rachele as well. I will write down all the tips on how to apply this miracle hair cream properly down below.

Salon Privat Manila at The Infinity Tower

A couple of weeks ago, I had my bi-yearly haircut from Rachel. She used to be at Kerastase Institute by Salon Esa in 6750 but transferred to yet another salon this year. She's now working with the team of Salon Privat located in Fort. This salon was interiored by the famous Tessa Prieto-Valdez so expect the salon ambiance to be wonderfully fun with fine furniture pieces.

Tokyo Shopping Haul ( Makeup Edition )

Good morning my lovely readers. Today I want to show you my Tokyo makeup haul. I got some of these from various Tokyu Hands Creative Life Store which pretty much you can buy any Japanese products from housewares, stationary, beauty products, clothes, bags, food, etc. I also bought from small konbinis you can find on the street and inside different train stations.

As you all, I'm quite addicted to scented candle. I have finished all the ones I got from Bath & Body Works when we vacationed in USA last year. Sadly, I didn't think of blogging them then. Anyway, I got this sweet candle Amber Lights Laguna from SuperSale Bazaar at the World Trade Center which happened last December. Here's my short review about it.

Sephora Makeup Haul

When we were vacationing in USA last year, I didn't get a lot of cosmetics from Sephora. I was into Japanese drugstore make up such as Canmake and Kate then so I was not interested into trying expensive American ones. But lately, I am slowly converting into using this kind. I find that the cheap Japanese ones tend to finish fast. Another is I have no pending trips to Hong Kong or Macau so my make up stocks are slowly running out.

Last December, the companion and his family invited me to go to Duty Free Philippines to help them pick out goodies to be given to their staff and friends for Christmas. While strolling around getting yummy stuff and amazing gifts, the companion told me to pick something for myself when we passed by the Chanel make up counter. Yippee for me!

New Year New Haircut at Kerastase Institute by Salon Esa

I went to Kerastase Institute by Salon Esa with my Achi who just came back from China. We always visit the salon together whenever she comes back in Manila for a visit. I was feeling experimental. I was game to do something different with my hair. Rachel, my hairstylist, on the other hand kept saying "NO NO NO!" to all my suggestions...

" Rachel I really want a new look for this new year so do that. " I said with finality. ( taray! )

Good morning everyone! How was your 12-12-12 day yesterday? Mine was completely normal. Nothing extraordinary happened. lol. But it's alright, because I got the most amazing gifts on my birthday!

At my age, I still get presents from my girlfriends! I actually told them not to get me anything anymore because I'm way too old to receive gifts. Their company at my celebration is enough for me. But they all still went out of their way and got me the nicest and sweetest things.

I want to pay tribute to my first ever Chanel lipstick. How fitting it would be that I got the Chanel #19 Gabrielle Rouge Coco lipstick, named after the famous Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanel herself and as for the number, she was born on August 19, 1883. I got this a year ago at Kuala Lumpur Airport. I don't use it much, I only use it on special occasions or fancy dinner dates. It's a bit expensive so I'm kinda like saving it. lol

Lush Haul

A couple of weeks ago, while walking around Glorietta Mall, I passed by the LUSH Store. The strong perfumey scent of the products allured me into walking inside and made me purchased a number of things! 

The mind was strong but the nose was weak. NYAHAHAHA! 

I had to give in and took home these pleasurable scented little goodies.

Would you believe I didn't buy a single article of clothing? Winter is fast approaching so all of the clothes being sold there were heavy winter things. Since I couldn't buy any clothes , I stocked up on my favorite beauty products and bought a couple of new items to try on.
