Butterfly, San Francisco

After a half day city tour, we also booked an Alcatraz Tour that afternoon. We arrived at Pier 33 around 1:30 pm and had an hour to kill before boarding the ship. We were also starving and couldn't find any other restaurant in the area other than this expensive looking Butterfly Restaurant.

Good Morning my dear readers! When we were in San Francisco, IHOP was just a few steps away from our hotel. Starting our day with this breakfast joint for 3 straight days definitely made us wake up early despite of our jet lags.

After 14 hours of non-stop flight from Manila to San Francisco, boy were we exhausted! I was super ready to take a bath and hit the sack upon checking in but my baby sister said she was starving. I needed to accompany her to find food. Guess what we saw just two blocks away from our hotel...

We spent 7 amazing days in Los Angeles, California, our last USA destination! We toured, shopped, and did a lot of other things so pardon me because I have to post those in 2 or 3 parts; else it'll be too long to read wholly. Again, we left Des Moines super early.

Now let me share with you our third USA destination: Des Moines, Iowa.

I was extra excited with this specific location because I've never read it on blogs or heard anyone travel there. We had two days and two nights to see what breathtaking sights Des Moines has to offer.

all I saw was the airport and the views around it (-_-)

Good morning darlings!

I came back last Saturday but took additional days off from blogging because of jet lag. I have been waking up at 5:00 am and couldn't go back to sleep anymore. Come 11:00 am I become drowsy and sleepy! It's ridiculous! I would be taking supplements to help me go back to my normal sleeping routine. Anyhoo, enough about me ranting and let me start raving about the places I saw and shopped at "in the land of the free and the home of the brave." LOL!
