Until we saw this...
♫ Hallelujah ♫
We got to the restaurant around 8:30 pm and we were also mad famished! We couldn't contain ourselves but ordered what we shouldn't had. Sorry God, we will make it up to You. The wait staffs immediately served us about 8 different kinds of banchan or side dishes. My favorites were the salad and kimchi pancake. I ate 3 servings of those and they were all free!
Other dishes we ordered:
BI BIM BAP P250
It was pretty good. They put a lot of veggies in the dish.
JAP CHE P280
Sticky and chewy rice noodles with sweet sauce. This was ok but I still prefer Korean Village's version best.
GAL BI JIM P300
The beef ribs were extremely tender. Impressive.
RA MYUN P200
My sister Rin ate the entire bowl of noodles and she's wondering why she's getting bigger! :D
TUK BOK KI P150
Another perfect dish for us. The rice cakes were soft and chewy served with a very spicy sauce.
GALBI TANG P250
The soup my ama ( grandmother ) loved completely. I had a bowl of this and it was beefilicious!
2 ORDERS OF NAK YUP SAL P500 EACH
Tender and Flavorful. A must order.
LA GAL BI P450
The pork was a bit fatty but it was also tender and flavorful.
MANDU P200
Out of all the wonderful dishes, this one did not shine to us. Although the dumplings were freshly made, the wrappers were extremely thick with tiny fillings inside.
Anyway, what do people never miss when eating in a authentic Korean Restaurant???
The Korean Store behind it!
We hoarded Korean snacks and drinks.
We also got Melonia and the fish ice cream ( it's not really a fish ice cream but a wafer sandwich filled with red bean and vanilla ice cream ) for dessert.
We just stayed at home during Lent but it was alright for us. Munching on these while watching Korean series were enough. lol :D
