Last month, my good friend Euni got these amazing Lolo Dad's Cafe coupons from Deal Grocer. She invited all of us girlfriends ( but sadly Fauikins the doctor couldn't make it because of hospital duties ) to join her for a fancy schmancy dinner.
That's the famous award-winning Chef Ariel Manuel doing his magic behind the glass covered kitchen.
We had the following:
COMPLIMENTARY BREAD BASKET W/ BUTTER
SEARED DUCK LIVER AND PATE DE FOIE GRAS, ASIAN PEAR CONFIT, MESCLUN SALAD AND RED ONION MARMALADE P1,320
The girls and I shared this luxurious starter. I loved the seared Foie Gras, Lyn liked the Pate de Foie Gras while Euni loved the salad and pear. This dish was just WOW!
DALANDAN SORBET
Everyone was given this cool looking pot of sorbet to cleanse the palate.
PAN-FRIED FILLET OF SEABASS WITH BLUE CRAB POTATOES AND SMOKED SALMON FILLED MUSHROOM IN OYSTER CREAM SAUCE P1,320
I ordered fish because I had a late lunch that day. The Seabass was cooked perfectly and the mashed potato was TO DIE FOR! Euni and I attacked the truffle tasting potatoes.
SEARED FILLET HALIBUT WITH SMOKED SALMON AND POTATO HASH, ORANGE MEUNIERE SAUCE P1,100
Lyn had this. She was able to finished this with gusto.
COMBINATION OF LAMB BELLY AND CHICKEN KEBAB, CINNAMON AND GARLIC FLAVORED RICE, FRESH FRUIT RELISH P870
Euni, the only one who was really hungry that night ordered this meat entree. I tried a bit of lamb belly with the seasoned rice and it was beautiful! The lamb literally melted in my mouth.
Overall, splurging at Lolo Dad's was worth it. We had a nice time having great conversations over fantastic food!

the first two dishes didn't really interest me until I saw the kebab! WOW!! I would definitely order that one when I get to visit this Cafe! ^_~
