Chef Cyrille invited Uncle and told him about his famous Veal Shanks.
He insisted that we should try it.
I had a tall glass of freshly squeezed lemonade while the rest drank red wine.
COMPLIMENTARY BREADS
Freshly baked baby baguettes, walnut bread, and I forgot the third kind. I prefer the crusty baguettes best. I love it so much I asked the waitstaff to wrap 6 more to go.
They make their own butter.
VEAL SHANK COOKED FOR 48 HOURS W/ CARROTS AND MUSHROOMS (GOOD FOR 4PAX) P3800
The waitstaff was interesting to watch because he served the beef to each one of us with finesse.
The veal meat was so tender I hardly chewed it before swallowing it down. The flavors of the wine, very simple vegetables and mushrooms all meshed together into one amazing dish.
YORKSHIRE PUDDING
These were included with the veal order. I don't think anyone tasted this because the bread looked kinda dry and we were all busy still munching the very addictive baguettes.
My extra order of Truffled Risotto. I was thinking I might not get full by just eating meat. I needed my carb!
Overall it was one hearty meal that satisfied the four of us. I even took home some of our left over meat.
Have A Lovely Day!
Looks sooo good! And walnut bread sounds very yummy! Great pictures from your night!
