Chelsea Market and Cafe at Serendra, Fort Bonifacio

Last Wednesday, my sister Fritzi and I had lunch while waiting for her daughter Samara at school. We choose Chelsea because it's one of our favorite restaurants and the ambiance is very nice. As you can see, the restaurant is covered in floor to ceiling glass so the place is brightly lit and has this very cheerful vibe.

We stayed there for about 3 hours and ate the following:

COMPLIMENTARY BREAD WITH ROASTED GARLIC AND OLIVE OIL BALSAMIC DIP

TRUFFLED GREEN PEA & HOUSE-MADE MUSHROOM RAVIOLI P280

Creme frache. The green pea tasted sweet, the truffle oil was pretty strong and the ravioli had the right consistency. This was a perfect soup to start out meal.

"CHELSEA GREEK" PANKO CRUSTED FETA CHEESE P350

Kalamata olives, fresh tomatoes, cucumber, mint, tri-color bell peppers, baby romaine, sweet lemon & dill yogurt dressing. Since it was just my sister and I dining, we splitted the super duper yummy fried feta cheese equally to the two of us. The salad was fresh, the sour dressing was perfect with the saltiness of the cheese and the sweetness of the vegetables.

TRUFFLED 3 MUSHROOM CREAM FETTUCCINE P495

Double smoked bacon lardons, fresh basil and Parmesan shavings. My absolute favorite dish I always get whenever we dine at Chelsea. Some people may find it "umay" to finish a plateful of this but I surely can!

'LOW & SLOW' MERLOT BRAISED U.S. BEEF SHORT-RIBS P750

Roasted cherry tomatoes, onion frizzles, roasted garlic baby asparagus served on mashed potatoes. The beef was over cooked so some parts of it were extremely dry, nonetheless the beef was packed with flavor.

Look at those adorable kids!!!

Have A Lovely Day!
