When the cat ( companion ) is away, the Lovely comes out to play!!!

Whenever the companion leaves for business trips, these are the times I love to call my friends and bug them to go out and catch up with one another. This time, since everyone was pretty busy, my good friend Euni was the only one available for dinner. Since her work is located in Makati, we decided to meet up at Glorietta.

I sent her sms asking for options on where she wanted to eat. Since she adores Japanese cuisine, her first shout outs were Sakura and UCC. I quickly replied that I am currently banning Japanese food because lately, I myself have been eating a lot of those. A few minutes later, she texted CPK to which I replied YES!

This restaurant brings back wonderful and awkward teenage memories. My bakadas and I would usually dine here after long periodical exams when we were in high school. This restaurant was very popular way back in the late 90's when there were no Greenbelt, Serendra, or Eastwood to choose from. As far as I can remember, the place used to be bigger but they had it renovated to a smaller size now. 

Anyway I was so excited to go back there again after a long long time!

Here are the food we ordered:

SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP P425

Served hot with blue and white corn tortilla.
 

 WALDORF CHICKEN SALAD P410

Greens, chilled-grilled chicken breast, seedless grapes, Granny Smith apples, candied walnuts, celery and Gorgonzola cheese. Tossed with Dijon balsamic vinaigrette.

GARLIC CREAM SAUCE FETTUCCINE ( HALF ORDER ) P375

Fettuccine with garlic cream sauce and sauteed shrimps.

We spent a total of 2 hours chatting, gossiping, and eating till our hearts' content. <3
