Here is another restaurant for my Pampanga food series. Located along Friendship Highway are tons of Korean Restaurants. As I have explained here, Friendship Highway has become a Korean Town because all the Koreans who migrated? in Angeles set up businesses and houses in this area. Friendship Highway is just outside Clark Field so you definitely wouldn't miss it.
When my baby sister visited Angeles and she was craving for good Korean food, my mom suggested we try this newly opened Shinsun Sulungtang Corp. This was highly recommended by her Korean hairdresser whose salon is located just across the restaurant.
EGGPLANT KIMCHI
CABBAGE KIMCHI
RADISH KIMCHI
The BOMB Banchan: unlimited CHAPCHAE FOR FREE!!!
Our orders:
KIMCHI JEON P200
Kimchi pancake. Spicy and very well cooked.
BIBIMBAP P280
Rice mixed with vegetables and beef. Very good!
LA CHEOL PAN GAL BI P380
Pan grilled marinated beef short rib. Quite fatty but the meat was super tasty.
DDEOK MANDOO SULUNGTANG P350
Beef brisket soup with rice cake and dumplings. The soup was pretty decent. The owner said the broth is milky white not because of milk but from boiling pork bones for at least 8 hours.
I can't remember what dish is this... Pardon my short term memory loss. This is probably some kind of egg dish??? :D
TTUKBAEGI BULGOGI P350
Beef stew in a stone hot pot. My favorite!
We were really happy with the free Chapchae and the superb service. The owner served us our food and happily refilled plates after plates of that yummy noodles. We can't wait to go back to try other stuff on the menu.
Have A Lovely Day!
