Mamou Too in Power Plant Mall

Another Sunday dinner with the companion and his family. We chose Mamou Too because we were craving for a good steak and that To Die For Truffle Cream Pasta. When dining at Mamou, always make sure you call in advance to make a reservation. They are very strict in their two seating time every night. One is at 6pm and the next is at 8pm. We got the 8pm but reached Rockwell at 7:30pm. We went to the restaurant hoping they'll be able to give us a table but they couldn't. The place was packed!

Upon sitting down, we quickly ordered everything we wanted to try.

Our orders:

COMPLIMENTARY BREAD

 DALANDAN MINT SHAKE P175

We all got a glass of this. Very refreshing.

 DALANDAN JUICE P140

For Auntie who doesn't like cold drinks.

HEALDSBURG'S HARVEST P325

Greens in season, sweet tomatoes, glazed pecans, dried cranberries, cranberry stitch cheese, berry vinaigrette. Very good.

LORENZO'S TRUFFLE CREAM P375

Spaghettini, truffle flavored cream, Grana Padano cheese, served al dente. We all agreed next time to order a plate each because one order is definitely not for sharing.

 KUROBUTA SINIGANG P395

Kurobuta pork stewed in tamarind broth with country vegetables, served with garlic rice. First time to try this. It has the consistency of a stew rather than a soup.

ANGUS RIBEYE USDA PRIME GRADE STEAK P1780

We got Caramelized Bananas and Steak Rice as 2 of our side dishes. Very fatty. The steak was alright.

RB FOIE GRAS OPEN FACE SANDWICH P995

90g of Wawa's Prime Rib, doused in gravy, topped w/ 50g of pan seared Foie gras on buttered bun, w/ french fries. The Foie Gras included was HUGE! As for the Prime Rib slices, we didn't care much about it.

Have A Lovely Day!
