Trio at The Fort

I haven't seen my two older siblings for quite some time now. My Achi is currently far far away near the seaport of China while my Dichi is just in her house taking care of her babies. Both my sisters are hands on mothers so we hardly even talk for more than 10 minutes on the cellphone without them saying they needed to go because one of my nieces might be screaming or doing something naughty.

Anyway for some unbelievable reason, my Dichi decided to come out of her HIVE and invited us for some dinner. Rin ( our baby sister ) suggested Trio because she was having her Bohemia Bazaar that day at a nearby place.

Eating with my sisters is always such a pleasure because we all love CARBS! We all have this love affair with pizza and pasta. Now that I'm sorting and blogging about this dinner, I have found out we didn't even bother ordered any meat dishes!

SPINACH SOUP P165

Cream of spinach soup with garlic croutons and quail egg.

TOMATO SOUP P175

Velvety roasted tomato soup sprinkled with Parmesan.

SEAFOOD SOUP P175

Assorted seafood in a light tomato broth. We shared the soup so all of the pictures above are just half servings. As you can see the serving size is big.

MEDITERRANEAN SALAD P275

Mesclun greens with thinly sliced tenderloin, roasted tomatoes, feta cheese, black olives and capers in a shallot vinaigrette.

GRILLED TENDERLOIN AND MUSHROOM RISOTTO P395

Beef tenderloin on a bed of mushroom risotto drizzled with truffle oil.

Penne with smoked bacon and mushrooms in a garlic-creme sauce.

MUSHROOM GORGONZOLA P275

Penne with sauteed mushrooms in a Gorgonzola tomato-creme sauce.

Fettuccine with assorted fresh mushrooms in truffle oil.

FIVE CHEESE PIZZA P395
